A ticket to Pecha Kucha is a slight trip into the unknown but in a good head-waking kind of a way. It's a chance to listen to people talk in a pithy, fast-paced, generally interesting, often funny, surprising, eclectic and inspiring way about the stuff they are interested in. And then to use that as a starting point for a series of conversations with the people you came with or just other random folk who happen to be in the room (other people call this networking , but we wouldn't be so presumptious). And isn't it always the way that conversations with random inputs lead to random, interesting connections and outputs? Bound to start a hundred new ideas buzzing in your head, which is a good thing, isn't it? Although what you do with these is up to you...

Pecha Kucha Night was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public.
It has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities around the world, inspiring creatives worldwide. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of "chit chat", it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It's a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.
